Eduard Gabia (1979) graduated from „Floria Capsali” Choreography High School in Bucharest. He received study grants at TanzQuartier (Wien), Internationales TanzFest Berlin/Tanz im August, KaaiTheater (Belgium) and Dance Theatre (New York).
His performances: “5 minutes of my life”, “Bonus”, “My presence proof of time”, “8 days a week”, “My brut material – your performance” were presented in places and festivals like: Dance Theater Workshop-NY, TanzQuartier Wien, Dietheater Wien,“Manoever” Festival in Leipzig, Paris Quartier d’Ete Festival, Balkan Dance Platform, Internationales TanzFest Berlin/Tanz im August, ImpulsTanz Festival Wien, Centre Culturel “Andre Malraux” Nancy, Kaaitheater Brussels, and others.
He created two short movie: “5765 frames” produce by TVR (Romanian National Television) and together with Ion Dumitrescu, ”Fără cuprins” produced by CNDB (National Dance Center Bucharest).
